Adobe Brick lab + resources
The Adobe brick making lab Project
The Adobe Brick Lab is an open-source resource I’ve been creating to support adobe testing, material exploration, and hands-on learning. It includes a lab guide along with 3D print files for 4 x 2 x 8 inch brick forms for small-scale testing and experimentation. I’m sharing these materials openly because I believe knowledge around adobe and earthen building should be accessible, practical, and available to the people who want to learn from it, use it, and build on it.

The Adobe Breeze Block Project came from wanting to see what would happen if a breeze block was made from adobe instead of concrete or terracotta. I used a semi-stabilized mix of adobe, paper pulp, and lime to test a series of forms and prototypes. I’m sharing the recipe and 3D printed form as an open resource for people interested in adobe, sustainable materials, and hands-on experimentation.

The Liquid Paper Recipe is a material experiment I developed while testing ways to build layered, lace-like surfaces through syringes and line work. Using paper pulp and other simple ingredients, I used a mixture that could be piped, shaped, and dried into flexible forms for larger sculptural and installation-based pieces. I’m sharing this recipe as an open resource for artists, students, and makers interested in accessible materials, process-based experimentation, and alternative paper techniques.
